SPRING ‘26
SUPPORTERS SEMINAR

On Aesop’s Fables and the Moral Life

FOR THE SUPPORTERS OF THE BERKELEY INSTITUTE

How do individuals seek and receive moral guidance and formation, and how does this formation unfold over time? How are moral lives shaped through texts, relationships, everyday practices, and institutions — including the university?

We invite you to join the Berkeley Institute's core community of faculty, donors and alumni for a discussion of these questions and others raised by our 2026 theme and programming. Our discussion will focus on selections from our Spring 2026 Community Read, Aesop's Fables. And we'll consider these questions in light of the not only our semester's programming, but our hopes for our work ahead.

Our Supporter's Seminar, now a semesterly tradition, is an evening designed to bring our core supporting community together for thoughtful conversation, as well reflection about the mission of the Berkeley Institute. This event is open to supporters of the Berkeley Institute and their guests.
